SKF releases updated Kaydon Reali-Slim® bearings catalog

Muskegon, Michigan, USA...SKF has released a new Kaydon Reali-Slim® thin section bearing catalog, replacing the Kaydon Catalog 300. The engineering and selection guide includes a number of enhancements and revisions.

Popular part numbers are now highlighted, including bearings that are commonly in stock and/or have short lead times. An expanded Kaydon part number identification page reflects available catalog modification options. The catalog also features the SKF Kaydon dual-branding format and look.

As always, the Reali-Slim® thin section bearings catalog features key dimensions, capacities, and ISO radial ratings for the full range of Kaydon's standard thin section bearings, from Reali-Slim (inch and metric) to Ultra-Slim® and small turntable bearings. This range includes angular contact, radial contact and four-point contact bearings, both open and sealed.

Easy-to-read color cross-sections and illustrations are featured, along with helpful sections on load analysis, torque, mounting, lubrication, and more. The catalog also includes a user's guide to Kaydon's exclusive Reali-Design® software for bearing analysis and selection and an easy-to-use Request For Proposal form for standard or custom bearings.

The new catalog is now available in PDF format on the SKF Shelf app (available to install on Apple or Android devices) or on the Kaydon website downloads page.

KaydonBearings.com offers additional useful tools for design engineers, such as a user-friendly Thin Section Bearing Selector that allows for search by dimensions (bore, O.D., width) or part number, along with downloads of 2D or 3D drawings in a choice of 38 different file formats. Users can also download Kaydon's Reali-Design® and Reali-Design MM® software, which saves hours of tedious computations, accurately computes life and load analyses, and determines safe operating speeds.
