SKF Solution Factory remanufacturing services

The SKF Birmingham Solution Factory takes worn bearings that are slotted for scrapping and expertly remanufactures them to like-new condition for extended service. A wide variety of bearing types are eligible for remanufacturing.

All bearings are thoroughly inspected upon arrival and then, with customer permission, undergo polishing or grinding. Surfaces are repaired and components are replaced if necessary.

All critical features are measured and documented to meet SKF's stringent requirements. The SKF bearing remanufacturing program returns bearings to like-new condition at a considerable cost savings compared to purchasing new bearings.
